This is the rifle that Savage builds for 1000yd competition and has done very well in that area. It is all stainless, 30” heavy barrel. It is a single shot feed and is virtually new. It has exactly 27 rounds fired through it. I no longer have acces to a range that is more than a couple hundred yards so it’s capability is wasted at that range. It has a Leupold Backcountry rail on it that will stay. It has never been completely broken in or sighted in, but I was going through a formal breakin process when I stopped shooting it. The current MSRP on ranges from $1679-$1899 ( if you can find them). It has grey laminated stock. If you need further info or photos pm me and I can provide either. I need to get $1250 and buy pays actual shipping for me to your FFL. Thanks for looking.

If my Model 12 LRPV in .223 is any indication, Savage`s target line featuring heavy SS long barrels are exceptionally accurate and well put together. Currently, my club range is 500 yards with tentative plans to expand to 1K. If those plans were actually underway, I`d be sorely tempted. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Model 12 line of target guns for anyone looking for a dedicated range rifle.

Thanks for the input. Comments like yours and seeing others at my former range is the reason I originally bought it. I know the 27 shots fired do not tell the story, but I have zero doubt that Savage builds these rifles to compete. Thanks.
