Savage impulse parts

Anyone seen impulse parts available?

Looking for a magnum bolthead, barrel extension and stock.

I know Boyd makes a stock but not impressed.

Willing to make trades with some one looking to go smaller. I have 243 size bolt head trade for magnum. Also have kuiu big game stock and wanting the klym

Any help tracking parts would be great. Thank you

There is a guy on Snipers hide that made barrel extensions and lugs which I bought and have not used but appear to be high quality.

There is a German company making a very expensive thumb hole stock. (FBT iirc). I ordered Boyds 2x's and had to send both back, for fitment and order errors, questionable if any value over OEM stock so bailed on that project. They offer 2 options for Impulse, I suspect one is inlet for Aics the other for OEM but never could get anyone at Boyds to talk or correspond with me to verify or trouble shoot my issues.

Bottom metal is also an issue if converting from factory mags to AICS, Accurate has a bottom metal they say will work for impulse if you wallow out the holes, they are slightly farther or closer apart than standard Savage bottom metal.

Not sure if a bolt stop swap is needed for converting across cartridge lengths never got far enough along to sort that out.

Otherwise, the promise of modularity marketed by Savage is a complete no go as of today, let me know if you find anything different.

I'll have to look into this barrel extensions

I was curious about the boyds but ne er much cared for them

FBT doesn't offer the stock and savage won't sell one

I appreciate all the info. Its a bummer savage really over promised and under delivered on these. I asked them straight up why they marketed them so modular but won't sell the parts. They had no reason. Told me they they couldn't sell me a mag bolt face but could sell me a barrel and bolt since the head spacing had to be factory spec'd. The person. Really had no clue what was going on

I call Savage every 6 months and try to speak with a manager and make the point that they left us hanging. Last time I called a while back the rep seemed to think parts would be available soon. The people on the phone dont know whats going on and try to get you off the phone asap. My concern is that there is an issue with the platform vs low adoption so they stopped the project. Ive been chasing this since early 2023.
