Of my three Savage .17 rifles, my A17 Sporter .17 WSM gave me problems, so I shipped it to Savage for warranty repair. I included $20 and a note thanking them for fixing my rifle and lunch was on me.
The rifle was returned sporting a new rail and the two original mount blocks included in a small bag.
I soon discovered my Savage tool for adjusting the trigger was missing so I called them today and the tool will arrive in the mail, free.
