Great condition Savage 16 in .223. Stainless steel with 24" fluted barrel, hinged floor plate and aluminum v-block bedding. Comes with DNZ game reaper 1-piece mount (1 inch tube diameter). Bought this as a varmint rifle but I don't get out anymore.

1-9 twist

$575 Shipped to your FFL dealer location.
Add $40 if required to be shipped from an FFL dealer on my end

I'm not sure on the twist rate. It was a Cabelas/Sportsmans exclusive model that's now discontinued so I'm struggling to find that spec. I can call Savage customer service tomorrow and see if they can look it up.

How’s it shoot?
Like most Savages I've found it to be very accurate, easily sub MOA.

I used Hornady 55 grain vmax for varmints and that grouped tight. Didn't really experiment too much with different ammos to see what the limits of the rifle were.

I have the same rifle and it shoots 55 and 53 v-max, remanufactured black hills 52 hp, and hand loaded 50 gr SP’s all extremely well.

Barrel twist?

If it was a faster twist option it would have labeled on the side of the barrel, right after the caliber label.
Ex.
Model 16 223 Rem(7 twist). Or just (7).

If it doesn’t have that then it should be Savages standard 9 twist. Also. The faster twist options usually came available on the heavy barrel varmint and target guns.

Yes that's correct. I just confirmed with Savage that this 1-9 twist
