I have a Hakka 15 lb. It has steel gears. Works well.
Yes, mine is working well too and a great price point. We made a lot of snack sticks this fall - 40 pounds a with the small looong stuffing horn there is a lot of pressure involved. If that didn’t cause an issue I’m happy. We have done several hundred pounds of sausage so far and no problems. Got a horizontal, I’m happy.

just to warn those in the market, there is a smaller Hakka (7 pound vertical entry level) that isn’t 100 percent stainless that some had problems with the gears.

I just used mine a few weeks ago for the first time, made brats with a black bear. Worked awesome, SOOO much better than the grinder. Found out that the size is great too, don't need a giant one as it's really easy to refill with more meat.
Honestly not sure why these things are so expensive from other brands. They aren't complicated devices.

Have a mighty Bite 15 pounder with the steel tubes. So far it’s been very good
