Satori AMO sight holes on 17"

From what I can gather the 19" and 21" Satori risers have AMO holes for sights and quiver mounts but the 17" does not.

Would it be possible to drill and tap the 17" so I can mount a quiver?

I don't have a riser. It's something I'm looking at buying though.

If you were careful I doubt it would be a big deal. Probably wouldn't shoot 70# limbs out if it though. I personally would be more inclined to go for the 19" or use a great northern that attaches to the ILF Bolts before I started to drill holes in a riser.

Are you wanting it so you can mount a quiver? If so their is a few options that use the top hole for the Hoyt system

Make sure to put helical inserts in the hole if you do

Have you considered something like the Selway slide on quivers? I got one and like it. Lots of people say it dampens noise and vibration a bit compared to other quivers.

If your profile pic is you, you are probably lots more experienced than me, and have a reason for wanting the 17. But, if you are new to this, lots of people do like the 19 inch risers, and that may be the simplest solution, if you must have the sight/quiver mount holes.
