Salomon get it together

So in the past year I’ve bought 6 different pairs of Salomon boots... EVERY SINGLE PAIR fits COMPLETELY DIFFERENT...a couple examples..

11.5 x Ultra fit snugly but perfect with a very thin sock. One of my most comfortable boots for a while then shrunk over a short time... so much that I could not wear them anymore...

11.5 4d GTX feels a full size bigger than the ultra out of the box fits like a 12..

Luckily Iv purchased half of these at REI and can exchange them..I understand every brands sizes will vary (which already sucks) but within the same brand the boots SHOULD be true to a size. I really like a few pairs of these Salomon boots and HOPE I can re buy them in a different size and eventually get
Lucky... it’s just getting a little annoying to say the least.

I've had the same experience. I wear Salomon Trail Runners and wear out a pair every few months. The rocks on the trails here shred the soles. I always order them online. Last time around I saw the model I like on Amazon on sale so I bought 2 pair. When I finally needed them a few months later they were about a size too small. I always were 10.5's in Solomon, except this last purchase. Too late to return them so I donated them.

Had the same thing with quest 4d GTS and quest forces non goretex both size 8. The forces model it way wider on the interior and is awful for side hilling. Wasn’t a bad price but I would have expected continuity with sizing between those models or at least close

Funny you say this, i just bought a pair of xd forces in od green and the left one fits great right on has a problem on roof of my foot its like shaped weird and digs into me totally sucks and rubs me raw.... not something you should have to deal with when you pay that kind of money

I’ve never liked the fit of any Solomon trail shoe or lightweight boot. In consistency in sizing and such...I’ve stayed away from their products for the last 5 years.... But there are those that really like the products they produce.

My quest 4d gtx 2 couldn’t fit any better than they do. I was hoping the forces would be a good summer training boot. Usable but not what I was looking for and hoping for.
