Use loctite?
Yes I did.
Use loctite?
My torque wrench is the non-digital Wheeler FAT Wrench, which has a red block on a gauge to indicate the torque "range" you are tightened to. I set my with the bottom of the block at 15 in-lbs, so the "actual torque" was probably in the 18 in-lbs range. I even emailed SRS about this to ensure 18 in-lbs is okay, and they confirmed that 15 in-lbs is the minimum and going up to 18 in-lbs is perfectly fine.
How far below "flush" did you drive your pin. I drove my pin near perfect flush, yours looks recessed. I'm wondering if I should drive it down further for more security...
What caliber and scope are you running? 30-06 here with a Vortex SE 5-25x56. I'm hoping the single 3mm pin w/ the four 6-42 screws are secure enough to handle a 30-06 running a heavy scope. I'm sure it's fine but... I'm always super OCD about these things. I really wish SRS just designed the rail to take all three pins.
