I bought a pair of these for hunting season this fall. They were well broken in and were never exposed to any rain/snow/moisture prior to the season. Wore them for the 5 day fourth season deer season here in Colorado, and by day three they got soaked and so did my feet. So much for for their GORE-TEX. Never again, very disappointing. Has this been the case with any others that have purchased these boots?

I had a pair of the Alps Trainer I was happy with. Bought another pair of the Alps and the Mountain Trainer this year. Similar experience as you with these. Both soaked up water just walking through wet grass. I’m probably done with Salewa.

My wife bought me a pair of the low cut Salewas for back to school one year. I only wore them walking around an at school on tile or carpet. By Christmas they were worn out, I should have known better. Like I said never again!

I bought a pair two summers ago. They litteraly were falling apart after light use. After being jerked around by their customer service I ended up pitching them in the trash and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
