I've got my grandpas .222. It has a fixed tube 2.5-8 on it. The old school no knobs.
I need some 30mm medium rings. Or something to put a modern 30mm scope on it.
Wanting to use it as a trainer until I can get a tikka 223. Accurate little rifle! The old school scope is actually pretty decent but doesn't offer much for training for using my other guns.

Not sure if they're a standard Sako base or something different. Tried Google and AI and just get more confused.

There’s a bunch of options, it’s the same dovetail setup as the sako85 and many other previous generations.

Leupold and sako make direct dovetail mount rings
Talley and weaver make 2 piece dovetail mount bases
Near mfg makes a really nice one piece pic rail, but they are hard to find and pricey

Oh perfect! Wasn't sure if it's the same as the 85.
