I just got into hunting and went straight to a tree saddle instead of a tree stand or climber. Any tips on making it more comfortable? It’s a trophy line saddle and it digs into my sides a little and I found myself adjusting frequently to try and get comfortable. In Virginia hunting public land if that makes any difference.

No experience with Trophyline, but Play with Tether height and bridge length. A bridge that's too short can cause hip pinch. Try it higher, standing more vertical. Try it lower / longer and more angle leaning away from the tree. You can also try sitting with your knees bent and against the tree as opposed to leaning with knees straight.

Takes a little getting used to.

Agreed, these take a lot of getting used to. I'm probably too old and too big for these saddles 6' 4" 235.....seems like they work out better for smaller guys.

A platform helps a lot.... vs just standing on steps.

I’m looking a lot at the predator platform, it’s just a lot to spend all at once, those saddles aren’t cheap
