S2H Winter Rifle Course Observations/lessons

How much of the shooting aspect is missed or left on the table in doing the winter class over the S2H 0-600 class?
Even though I don't hunt deep winter that often, I do like the idea of the training and learning from people who actually have alot of experience in it.

Almost none. They are the same, and slightly different.

Any update to this thread from the 2026 class?
Was the "new" puffy tested? Result? Release date?
How did the Vivo tundras perform?
New gear tested?
Anyone survive pool comp? 🤣🤣

Last question: How does deep snow cover in broken terrain affect sound absorption downrange from the shot? (Suppressed of course) The summer class was the first time I heard lots of shots being in front of a suppressed rifle, wondering how it compares to snow. Would I be pole-vaulting over mouse turds to assume a fresh wet snow absorbs better than an dry icy crust?

Yes. Snow deadens sound across the board- especially fresh snow. .
