The significant other has expressed interest in getting into photos, our family and trips nothing commercial. She uses a s23 now for photos but wanted to get a camera what would you all recommend?

If she wants a point and shoot we have the impossible to get Canon SX740 on the way in this week. Compact 40x zoom. Perfect for travel, wilderness and sports photography of the kids with that amazing optical zoom.
