I ran into some S&B brass that had crimped primers, but that was .223 as well as being around 2008. Other than the minor inconvenience of removing those I had no complaints and mostly lost cases due to hunting rather than culling worn out brass.
I don’t shoot 6.5 Creedmore. But S&B in .308 had some ridiculously tight primer pockets. I was very new to reloading when I was trying to use their cases so perhaps they were crimped and I didn’t know to look for it. Either way, I crushed a few primers early on. That was a good ten years ago though so take that for what it’s worth. Nowadays, I recognize a crimped primer pocket when I see one.
