At my local Walmart today and saw they had the gen 1’s for $349 clearance. Not in the market and my kids are well stocked so left them there for the next person.

I’m in Texas and I’ve seen them for $350 as well. Just gotta go check your stores. Sometimes they may not be marked correctly, so if you see one in the case, ask them what the price is. If they make it long enough, they will hit another clearance drop down and be even cheaper.

Gone are the days of the real good Walmart gun clearance prices. Watched a guy buy 17 Savage Axis rifles in front of me one day. $50 each. I ended up with 4 of them after he got what he wanted, a 223 rem700 for $79, a Henry big boy 44mag for $179 and a Ruger 10/22 takedown for $79. All in one trip. Kicker, that I didn’t tell Mr 17 savage axis, is Savage had a $50 rebate on those rifles. I paid tax on them. That specific store wasn’t able to sell firearms for a while, so they hit every markdown without being sold.

Scores a good number of other rifles over the years too. Weatherby vanguard sporter deluxe for $350, and the s2 synthetics for $250. Ahhh… those were the days(2018-2020)

My best find was 200 round packs of 9mm ammo for $15 and 100 round packs of 223 for $20. Unfortunately when I found that I had just moved towns and gotten a new job and hadn’t gotten paid yet. I got a few boxes, but I wanted to buy the whole shelf.

My local Walmart just underwent a new remodel and they ended up getting rid of their reloading stuff. Sucks but they do have a good gun/ammo selection.
