I have a ruger american 6.5 predator. Looking to upgrade the Tupperware stock? Does anyone have any suggestions?

It’s much better than the factory stock. It is heavy! I wouldn’t want to tote it up and down any mountains

Put a B&C on my 6CM American Predator. Had to get a regular Ruger American mag for it, which I didn't mind. I like it a lot.

Meant to add, B&C is a bit pricy but you can offset it by selling the original on eBay. Mine was a new AI style one and I sold it for $160ish.

Boyds sells several stocks that fit the Ruger American, wood laminate in a large selection of stain colors and finishes.

How hard was it to swap to b&c stock?

Super simple. Use tool that came with American Predator (if yours is the AI style) to remove the mag release, then take out the two action screws. Install B&C stock on barrelled action using the same two screws and the trigger guard that B&C provides. Pop in magazine from Ruger ($30 or so on Ebay, SWFA, Midway etc). Voila. I put a Timney trigger on mine while I had it taken apart too,
