Anyone out there that has used RTIC cooler have a seal issue? I bought a RTIC 65 a couple months ago and finally got to use it this weekend. Took it fishing, had it down on the bank. I had sat on the cooler with the lid closed and drain plugs in and tightened. I got up and heard a noise come from the cooler. Upon further investigation it seems the the lid isn't sitting or sealing properly. I can move the lid up and down roughly 1/4"while latched. Is this something you would contact their CS about or is this the norm for RTIC coolers?

I had an issue with mine last summer, the smaller color, wouldn’t hold ice at all. I contacted them and they sent me a free seal. It did take a little while as they didn’t have any in stock at the time.

Good to know I will be contacting the customer service this week. Did they give a reason why the seal may have been defective?

No they didn’t. Seems from what I read many of them do it yeti said a similar thing. Maybe how I stored it, either way they sent it out.

For anyone considering an RTIC in the future makes sure you buy straight from them. If you don’t and need warranty work or a claim filed you have to go through who you bought it from. I bought mine on amazon so we will see if anything gets resolved
