RRS Anvil versus any of the BH SCR ball heads...?

Have read a few posts with many members favoring the Anvil as the preferred shooting head over a ball head? What features or techniques in particular are there with the Anvil that makes it better for shooting off of in your opinion? I own both.

I use a small table I built with and adapter 3/4 stud, spin it on, place a good shooting bag on it and binoculars, binoculars off gun on and ready to send down range.
