RokStok

rock and a hard place. Maybe someone can convince gunwerks but what other manufacturer are they going to go to at this point? Manners, McMillan? Maybe you could get someone like AG composites or HS precision who don’t have as much of the market share as manners or McMillan. As much as the KRG guys love sako I don’t see them getting into Carbon fiber.

And I would bet money going to any other manufacturer the price of a rokstok increases to $800 minimum
I’d be down for a plastic KRG version.

@Mtslackcountry, what was UM’s response to this issue?
UM is going to warranty the stock. In the meantime I drilled several holes in the cracks and filled with JB weld then cleaned up the area with a dremel so the action would positively seat on the lug. Ive put a hundred rounds or so through it. Have not taken the action out to see what’s going on with fix yet. Gun is shooting really good right now

I remember when the rokstok initial promotion was in stock, readily available, only doing a pre-order in Dec 24 on initial release, then they were always gonna be available.

We're 19 months into this, and nothing has changed. I have 3 rokstoks, all 4-6 month wait. My recent CTR stock still needs be sent back in for repairs, as it was shipped with out of spec dbm cut.

As I see it, I bet there are likely no plans to try and fix the supply chain problem. As demand slows(which it likely will eventually) they may actually catch up, possibly get some on hand inventory. Unfortunately, we as consumers have continued to buy in, 100% paid in full, and wait 4-5 months(minimum) for a stock. This has shown UM/S2H that it's not a problem(demand wise) they haven't moved any closer to their stated goals since launch, because they keep selling, and there is a backlog of orders. Their lack of delivery has not hurt their bottom line, so I'm sure business will continue as usual.

These are my observations and opinions, I'd love to be proven wrong. But now wirh lightweight rokstoks coming forth, I dont think they'll ever get caught up anytime soon, but at this point that may not even be the goal anymore.

I know when I order a Manners or McMillan through my gunsmith, payment is not due until qc is done, and it's been sent into the shipping department.

Ordered mine back around Christmas, was in production at stockys first week of March. Still waiting for it to get to Unknown.
