RokStok

I don’t think it will happen, at least as Stocky’s as the manufacturer. So many QC issues and lack of communication. Feels like the partnership is very strained with all the missed deadlines. Who knows, maybe they can find a different manufacturer .

rock and a hard place. Maybe someone can convince gunwerks but what other manufacturer are they going to go to at this point? Manners, McMillan? Maybe you could get someone like AG composites or HS precision who don’t have as much of the market share as manners or McMillan. As much as the KRG guys love sako I don’t see them getting into Carbon fiber.

And I would bet money going to any other manufacturer the price of a rokstok increases to $800 minimum

I don't know anything about the business so speaking hypothetically, I would much rather pay for an $800 rokstok that showed up within a month, versus a $650 rokstok that shows up at some nebulous future date.

I think a lot of people would, and it’s part of the feedback loop that @Unknown Munitions @Lane Avery should have as they plan their future for this.

Hello,

I’ve been out of this thread for awhile and don’t want to go back through 60+ pages.

What is the availability of these now? Have we finally gotten to a point where we can just order one and get it in a reasonable amount of time?

Thanks!!!

You can order one. Timely is debatable. Stockys seems to be having trouble producing quality let alone capacity. There has been high rejection rate at UM.
Man bummer. I guess the joke is on me. I figured if I waited it would get easier to get one. If id jumped on the train a year ago I’d have had one for awhile.

Nope. Completely unknown schedule.

I was recently told by UM that they’re taking about 5 months to get. I’m not holding my breath by any means and am (hopefully) realistically targeting spring to have the stock/rifle in hand and ready to shoot.

Best bet is to pull the trigger. The sooner you order the sooner you get one. I know everyone (rightfully) continues to be frustrated by lengthy and uncertain timelines, but at least it's gotten better than when folks with preorders were still waiting. *seriously hoping those have all been filled* Smart move is to order far in advance of when you want the rifle. I'm putting one together to be ready for a hunt in 27 and the stock was the first thing I ordered.
It IS crazy that I'm actually confident I can get a can faster than a stock now....
