RokStok

Well, my Rokstok arrived yesterday. Ordered 11/8/25.

I ordered:
Pic rail
Standard sling studs (or what it comes with by default)
Black leather cheek pad

I received:
Trinity rail
QD flush cups
No cheek pad whatsoever

Guess I’ll be getting in contact with them on Monday. How do you install the wrong rail, add flush cups, and omit the cheek pad?
Can you send me a PM with your name and invoice #? I am taking over for Logan as the Rokstok Manager and want to make this right for you. Thanks!

I’m just trying to figure out why we’re still having issues 3 years in…
You all remember back three years ago when all this started and there was quite a bit of shit talked about how it’s ridiculous how long it takes to get stocks out from places like McMillan and manners, but here we are. 90 days or less.🙄
Quality and delivery times are no better now than they were on the disasters rollout.

Day 105. Got a in production email 30 days ago. Seems to be no rhyme or reason how this process works.
Be interesting to see what arrives first, the Rokstok Lite or this one.

Stockys sent another stock out pretty quick and it arrived at UM on 3/31. No mention of QC issues this time (although I didn’t ask). It only needs a pic rail and ARCA installed, so hopefully it’s out the door soon.

I've been told so far that 2 lefty Tikka Rokstoks have failed QA because of laminate issues. I remain patient and hopeful to get it before summer. UM continues to provide updates whenever I ask for them.

Not their fault for Stocky's QC but I'm ready to shoot.

Our rifle line at Cub Scout Camp has 12 wooden benches for flat range shooting at paper targets with lever action BB guns.

The rifles are set up from the factory for offhand shooting:

A flat toe line would give the cubs the ability to use the bench as a rear rest.

Negative comb would improve the versatility of our rifles to accommodate our shooters who are K5-5th grade ages.

Anyone have an opinion on barrel contour and length to balance well in a Rokstok? Deciding between 6 ARC 18" or 20" prefit either in Lite Hybrid, .750 taperless, or #3B Hunting Contour (from Preferred or PVA). Never ordered a prefit before so don't really have a good intuition here. @wind gypsy I've seen you discussing balance/taper/barrel length, so maybe you have a suggestion?

Rifle setup: standard Rokstok with LOP spacers, Tikka, SWFA 3-9, Hydrogen K suppressor (~7 oz)

Desired balance points vary by the person. I have 18” tikka lite contour and 18” benchmark #4. The lite with a gen 1 ultra 7 is more front heavy than the #4 benchmark with an OG65. I like more front heavy for balance shooting off front support than someone might want balance for offhand shooting.

I think you’d be fine with the lite hybrid or 750 taperless at either of those lengths with a light can.

I have an 18" PVA .750 Taperless on mine. Balance is OK with the Hydrogen K but noticeably better with the OG.
