RokStok

1. For those in this chat that are using the Rokstok for NRL Hunter matches, are you liking it for that application or wanting to move back to a chassis?
Yes. Enjoyable. Extra weight or heavy fill would be appreciated.

2. Has anyone dreamed of the idea of a Rokstock chassis format in metal, with front end being a full arca frame?
I would prefer an adaptor or negative comb+elevated recoil pad module for the KRG Bravo.

Pachmayer 752B small fits the Rokstok. comes in .6", .8" and 1" thick.

The 752B of all sizes have a metal frame according to each size so you can only grind about 3/16" in from any side.

The Pachmayer 500B and decelerator youth/xs fit the Lite.
The 500B is .5" thick, no frame.
The Decelerator youth is 1" thick and has washers around the screw holes, no frame.

Btw- Brownell's is out of the 500B/youth...
Is there any functional difference or advantage to any of the different thicknesses aside from changing LOP?

Maybe a dumb question, but is the extra recoil pad heavier or lighter than the equivalent spacers?
I don't know exactly, I haven't weighed for comparison.

my guess is miniscule difference because the biggest pad is basically hollow with support webbing .

Just a timeline for those who might care:

- 9/9: Ordered
- 10/30: Email saying the order was placed with Stockys
- 1/15: in production email
- 2/2: Shipping to UM email
Adding to the above:

- 2/17: my stock is at UM. I decided against cerakote so I can get this sooner. They said bare carbon is fine. Was told it'll be another 2-3 weeks to install hardware (pic rail up front and 4" ARCA in front of magwell) as their gunsmiths are "always busy".

I wonder what happened to the 120 day lead time for all orders per the UM website?
Sorry, just a little grumpy this morning when I realized I have over 4k of stuff on order. I just need to go shoot.

They are reducing their lead time by not responding to emails or phone calls. It is hard to sell when you don't reach out to a customer ready to buy.
Weird, I reached out the day before Christmas eve asking if I could buy some threaded recoil pins because I ordered my rings before they were available, they responded within a half hour, didn't charge me, and I got them in 3 days. And that's not the first or second time they've gone above and beyond for me. Maybe try a different approach.

I ordered one 12/24, got email it shipped from Stockys yesterday. Making pretty good time on that one at least. Not adding anything to it, and I’ll probably see if they’ll just ship it bare.
