Couple of questions for those of you who are using Rokstoks and light versions.

How do you find it to be for fast vertical adjustments shooting prone with a bipod in the field on animals, where every second counts? What rear bag are you using?

Do you find the cheek piece high enough for a 50mm objective scope? If not, what solutions have you found?

Thank you!

I haven’t had any issues with it, but I didn’t use a bipod during my one prone shot opportunity this past season. I had one, but not the time to deploy it. I dropped to prone and used my left arm for support, no rear bag, but I did have a compass pouch on my LBV that functioned the same way. Now that I have a proper binocular harness and pouch, that will be my hastiest rear bag.

I carry a Spartan Javelin lite bipod to use when I don’t have a backpack. I have a Mollinator clipped to my pack as my primary front rest and a Jellyfish in my pack as a primary rear rest.

The RokStok is the best shooting stock I have used in forty-three years of shooting. I have yet to find a position in which it isn’t better than every other stock I have tried.

I haven’t used it with a 50mm objective. I use a 40 or 42mm objective and UM low rings. For my body and eyes, that seems to work. I thought about getting a cheek pad from UM, but haven’t bothered yet.

If i can add another question here. What is everyone doing to bore sight there scope if they put a new scope on a rifle thats in a rokstok? Any simple tricks im overlooking?

for boresighting if you feel the need you can buy a laser bore sight tool. they make them cartridge specific. They are about the same cost as a box of ammo which can accomplish the same thing.

Move up to 25 yards and get on paper. Measure offset in FFP mil reticle and make the adjustments, move to 100 yards LS

Unfortunately my local range only starts at 50. I turned up the other week not even thinking about it. I managed to eye ball down the side of the barrel to get on paper and probably used a few extra rounds but just curious if anyone had neat trick
