Rokstok Lite

I thought about calling again today but decided it’s not my job as the customer to contact them as I payed my money to unknown and it is their responsibility to get me what I payed for.
I told UM the same thing and they offered to give me my money back if I wouldn't call Stocky's.

I called once on June 12th and stockys told me 3 weeks. I’m not gonna keep calling.
I called once and was glad i did. I changed my order the day after I placed it and went form CTR to regular bottom metal. UM never told Stocky's and they were building CTRs after the factory BM stocks. They shipped mine that week.

Anyone tried a MDT Carbon? They just became available with a Tikka inlet in left hand.
30oz with bottom metal, flush cups, integrated Arca. Expensive but available.

I have handled a few at NRL Hunter matches. Very stiff and the foam fill makes it quiet. Definately a qualty stock.

A student had one at a S2H class this year. It was ok. The grip is wildly too fat and at an odd angle. The forend, toe, and recoil pad height are all the normal issues. At $300 I might, at $1,600 with bottom metal- no way.

The KRG Bravo remains the single best option if one needs a stock immediately.

Could it be any uglier? Wood is so ugly, they blir the Pic
They are solid, especially with the elevated butt pad extension available (see seperate thread on that for details). MDT was selling blems inletted for Tikka a couple weeks back for ~$700 on their website. Same weight as the RokStok Lite (assuming similar configuration).

Form's price noted above is MSRP and includes the optional bottom metal. If you just want to drop your existing barreled action and bottom metal in, you can pick up the stock only for $1000 - 1100 depending on the vendor and day, or $700 - 800 from blems during MDT sale events. Still overpriced but they're available atleast..

Hey All,

For those who are waiting on their Carbon Fiber Lites, I wanted to get your opinion.

For context, we've had some trouble sourcing Pachmayr grind to fit recoil pads as of the last few months. The 1" pad has been more difficult than the 0.5". We are currently looking into Kickeez pads and some others that are a similar level of quality.

Assuming we were able to obtain these consistently, would any one object/care if we used them for current and future lites? If anyone wants to wait, thats understandable, but we just want to get these in your hands ASAP.

Could the backfire recoil pads be an option? I haven’t used them yet but they seem to be a good option and I’m about to buy a couple for my regular rokstocks

Order 72 here.
I’m fine with any pad as long as LOP matches the 1” pachmayr.

I’ve had good experiences with kick-eez on shotguns.

I'm good with Kickeez.

I'd be fine if you ship mine without a pad too if that's an option.

[Order #220108]

For the worry worts, I've had one on a 12 gauge over under for at least 12,000 rounds right now and it goes in and out of a golf cart holster and otherwise gets "passed around".
