I just finished up my grind to fit 1" recoil pad addition. Instead of adding spacers to the original .5" Pachmyr pad, I bought a GRW-120 (https://grindrecoil.com/product/grw-120/) and fitted it to the Lite. Hole spacing had to be enlarged slightly and used the original screws off the butt pad. Haven't shot it yet but overall I think it's going to be quite nice. Likely added an ounce or two.

This is not affiliated with UM, just my solution to LOP and wanted to share if it helps anyone post-purchase.

I got the email UM has mine and to confirm the specs. I asked about getting the 1" pad instead of the spacers and they said no problem and shouldn't be any delay in getting it out by the end of the month.

What barrel inlets are preferred? I will be running the tikka t3x lite/hybrid on most of my tikkas and don't plan on running any sendero contours right now. Is there some weight savings to be had with the sendero or will the factory tikka sporter be best?

UM would have the hard data on it, but based on Rokslide posts I'd wager that sendero is the most popular, 3B second and sporter last.

Common preference around these parts is more clearance = more better. Search for "dead cats"...Here's a Tikka T3X lite barrel in a Sendero channel.

Sendero certainly is a very popular barrel channel. Probably the most popular, but the sporter and 3 aren't too far behind. The Sendero will definitely be the lightest of the three on average, so thats also something people take advantage of, regardless of which barrel they have.

Well I caved in on waiting for the next order and snagged another stockys vg while they were running their sale. Maybe one day ill be able to try a rokstok/lite
