I said it earlier as to why they closed orders is that the website was setup incorrectly and they sold more than the 100 alotted Tikka. Those who said they are "on hold" are likely part of the "over sold" group.

I also do not believe they sold 100 howa mini stocks in 1.5 hours. Nobody in my circle owns a howa mini and I havent even seen one in person. I could be wrong...

I wonder where the order number cutoff would be for the 100 Tikkas, assuming you are correct?

I felt I got in very quick (confirmation email arrived at 9:50am), but my order says “on hold”.

I ordered before anything was posted here, so I doubt I’m part of the oversold group.

Hopefully that's not true. I think I ordered at 10:03 or something like that and was within the first 100, but my status also says on hold.

All I know is I placed my order, then I looked again to see how many were left which there was 173 stocks available. I went and took a shower. Then I looked again and it was out of stock. Someone said it was 96 minutes?

I don't particularly care about the timeline having gone through the first Rokstok order process, but I am curious if they're trying to get the weight back towards the advertised number or if there are options for recoil pads that weren't previously disclosed.

No doubt! I felt bad for them. If there is a weakness of UM/US, it's communication of actual timelines. I have just come to expect the stated timeline to not be met. So far in 2 cans and 2 stocks, they havn't hit their original stated timeline yet. I am not hopeful on this either, but going into it with low expectations, helps not drive you crazy.

Now that you mention that, when I placed my order it said 270 left when I started the order and then something like 264 left when I checked after the order was placed.

I'm fairly certain they said either in a thread or on the podcast that they'd have about 100 or so on hand for the first round. So unless that is a false memory, it's not my fault my expectations were high haha. Maybe now, I will just have low expectations regardless of what is said.

nah. mine shows on hold and I was one of first 10 or 15 orders. showed I think 288 after I ordered and i got my confrm email at 9:49

Another speculation. They noticed they weights were high and they're holding production to fix it.

I don't expect them to be on here every day with updates but it seems like one 5 minute response could shut us all up.

Im still hoping for some clarity on expected weight and butt pad options.
