Rokstok Lite

It sounds like I’ll need to go for a 14.75”+ LOP with the Rokstok lite so wondering if the 1” pad is worth it as part of the equation. Why didn’t they offer a 1” pad standard j/w
How are y’all doing these long LOPs without minting your scopes super far back?

Haha not sure but I am 6”2 with long arms and neck and it’s not been a problem albeit no experience with a Rokstok. Form has stated short women and children up to 6”6 monsters have shot his 14.75” Rokstok without issue, however that’s possible, I’m not sure.

I’m 6’ with lanky arms. But I think I have a short neck. Once I get above 14” it feels like I’m craning forward unless I bring the scope way back.

That might be it. I think you’re fine though, the long neck is a pain, I find stock fitment and comfortability shooting difficult, need high rings etc. That and I have no formal training or taken any courses but would love to instead of just reading and YouTube.

For me, spotting shots from a 7 pound 15 ounce 6.5 Creedmoor shooting 140-class bullets requires intense concentration and perfect form.

Yea I think 6.5 cm is where I like a little more weight like in the 8.5 range. Lighter on the 6 shooting 103s works great. My 6.5s will stay in regular rokstocks I think.

LOP and ring height is super personal. I am 6'2 with someone disproportionately long arms and neck. My rokstocks are set at 14 and 14.25 and I like low rings. I can easily go longer LOP prone or seated but it throws off my offhand shooting. Im not really sure why as I tend to like 15 or 15.25 in my upland bird guns. I think I also prefer a much stronger cheek weld than is popular, I think that also gets back to my extensive wing shooting experience and how much of my early shooting was iron sights on lever guns (vs a more heads up AR platfrom).

Now that the dust has settled a bit. Does anyone know if these are in already built, going into production, or any kind of timeline? Intel of any kind?
Already thinking of spring bear season.

Depends on how late your bears sleep probably. I’m not optimistic for spring bear. Figure I’ll probably have to lug the extra few ounces of a regular RS the 50 yards from boat to stand. Suppose I’ll live.

Site said 120 days which puts it mid June. I keep telling myself don't even think about it until 4th of July.

It also doesn't say you have to order the front one. Regardless, it's poorly written.
  • One sling stud included on the bottom of the stock at the rear. Front options can vary based on rail choice. Both the 6″ Arca/Pic and 6″ arca have built in QD cups so we will install another Q cup at the rear. Short rails will include sling studs from and back bottom.
Now I need to email. I definitely overpaid and it wasn’t really that clear.
