I sure like mine! Doesn't bounce around, wears comfortably, just works very well. Once its on I don't have to fiddle around with it. I like having the binos free when I take them out to glass, instead of having them tethered. I run 12x50s, leica CRF, cow call, license, sometimes a folded topo map. Great piece of gear.

Thinking about going with one of these over the Kuiu or FHF. Mostly because it looks like it can carry a lot more than the others. Being a muzzleloader hunter I like being able to keep a couple speed loaders and other gadgets within easy reach. Also looks like it can carry rangefinder, GPS, and other odds and ends stuff I'm alway's sticking in my pants, vest and shirt pockets. Now it can be all in one place. If I was looking for light and fast I'd probably go with the Kuiu or FHF. Hopefully it won't be to big and intrusive on my chest? Here's my question... looks like it's a little cheaper if you buy through the Rokslide store instead of the website. Only problem is there's only a Highlander pattern available? I'm not big on camo and would prefer a solid. Am I out of luck?

Well, if they don't carry it here, you could always order direct from Alaska Guide Creations.

I have one in black and love it. As you mentioned, you can carry all sorts of stuff. For me, I had binos in the big area, range finder in the smaller front pocket, and Delorme inReach under the top elastic band. In one side pocket I carried my Princeton Tec headlamp and the other side held an extra battery for the rangefinder and a couple other things I have forgotten. In the back mesh pouch I held the tripod mount for the binos, a couple packaged hand warmers and extra ammo. It was really nice having all of this contained in one package.

I haven't owned an fhf but I do have one of these and they do not run low. They are adjustable to ride where you want. I like mine really high and this one rides high.

These interest me, but it seems like you are wearing a backpack on the front. And also what about when u need to use the binos quick to check out an animal then put them away to shoot? Could be an issue in fast shot opportunities. Anyone with past experience that can enlighten me?

Have never had the time it takes to unclip the pouch and grab the Binos be an issue. Usually when I need to act that fast, it's because I am close enough to shoot without needing to grab the Binos. I would say unclipping the buckle probably takes less time than removing another kind of cover might, and I am adept at doing it one handed if necessary. Ryan Avery did show us a trick to keep the Binos attached to the pouch with a little bit of fine gauge paracord and a caribiner, in case you forget to clse the clasp it would keep your optics from falling out. But I ran mine without any kind of attachment for 5 years and never had an issue.

The size of the pouch really isn't that much, I don't often notice it's there (and my female anatomy makes it stick out farther than it would for you flat chested dudes). Much less intrusive than a "backpack on your front" at least IMO .

I ran the FHF bino rig for a bit, but it's minimalist design was too minimal. A dear friend sent me an AGC bino rig that I have become much more partial to.

Enough room for my important extras. Tags, Havalon, multitool, lighter, rangefinder and of course the Binos.

I have some sub-standard Leupold BX-3 Mojave 10x50s, are they too big? I want to get a harness but don't want to buy them twice (now and after I buy a better set of glass).
