My go to layers are First Lites merino blends. Picture below is the Wick Hoody. I also spent a decent amount of time in theYuma last year

and I will be adding it into my list of go to base layers for early season hunting.

My go to pants are SKRE Venture Flex.

For shirts, usually just a merino t-shirt or one of the many Cabelas brand lightweight shirts I have.

I quite like my OG Voormi River Run Hoodie. Lightest merino blend I've found that doesn't fall apart if you look at it funny. With my fair skin, any prolonged glassing in the heat requires a sun hoodie! I wish it had a watch window like my mtn. Ops Swift hoodie but overall I prefer the Voormi.

1000002833.jpgI have a couple favorite early season pieces. The first is a black ovis 150 hoodie. Lightweight and keeps the sun off.
The other (not pictured) is the Browning early season pant. I've had a pair since they came out. They have been great. Got my first tear a month ago.

Blackovis lightweight merino 1/4 zip hoodie. Hope someone takes over that line in the future!
