My son (red shirt) and my nephew this last weekend.

Its my son’s first buck and my nephew’s first deer in 5 years. Had them both with me in the blind. It was such an awesome experience watching them take their bucks.

My son turned 6 this year which is the minimum age to hunt here in AR. I'll never forget the smile and excitement on his face after he made his shot.

I just started snapping photos when we got there and this turned out to be one of the more candid ones I got. We kneeled down to examine her and thank her for the food she was going to provide and he gently pet her while he was saying his thanks.

My boy just shot a bull with my wife and I and he is recapping the series of events for her! I was a little over a hundred yards away and decided to take pictures through the spotter. Not your usual trophy picture but I’ll never forget this moment.

So many fantastic memories and photos in this thread! Successful hunt with my son. He didn’t have a shot so I took it. Not a big trophy buck this year—love this smile and the appreciation he’s developed for the hunting opportunities we’ve got.
Thanks Western Edge Gear for the chance.

My 13yo with his first deer. He passed a lot of deer during the hunt but wanted to punch his tag on the last day. 100 yds with his 308, but made more special dressing the deer with a knife he made over the summer.

8 year old sons first deer! PA rifle season 2nd day in the evening. He put in a lot of time in the woods this year and was determined to get his first deer. 75 yards with .243. Buck wondered about 30 yards and he was able to watch him drop through the scope! 8F0DDE5C-E16C-4EF0-BD9B-E59035E4EC17.jpeg
