Hello all,
It's my first time hunting deer in the west (from OH) and I recently moved to Klamath Falls, OR. I am looking to hunt the Rogue Unit as it is closest to me and I can get a general season rifle tag. I am looking to take a week off work and backpack in, and will have plenty of time to scout leading up to season. I plan to take the last week of the season off work and hopefully get a couple weekend hunts in before that. Does anyone have any general advice for scouting this summer or any tips for when the season starts that has been to that unit?
