Rodent proof storage?

Any good way to keep rodents, particularly mice, out of your gear?

I finally built a big enough locker type cabinet to store all my sleeping bags and blankets uncompressed.

Now, I'm worried about a family of mice making a love nest in the bottom of it and ruining a couple bags.

Shy of welding them in a steel box, any ways to keep mice out?

You can stuff dryer sheets in areas, put them all over camper, don’t stink like moth balls. I have had mixed luck with the wall plug in sonic noise deterrent. They have a peppermint spray, bought some have not used it.
