I went to my local gettin place and there it was, an 8lb jug of RL26 on the shelf. That’s the second one I got there in the past month. First one was $260, this one was $310. I now have enough to load all the bullets I have and probably shoot out two barrels.

I am an admitted powder whore. In the early days I went from powder powder to powder to find that last bit of velocity or the load that shaved that last couple tenths off a group at 100 yards. With that, I have a good number of partially used single cans and partial cans with another unopened can(s) of the same lot number that I moved on from.

I never thought I would be so happy that I did that in retrospect.

I picked some up on Natchez back in July or August. Felt lucky to find enough to last a while before my move to Alaska- not much powder making its way up here (and cant ship to here via FedEx/UPS since everything comes by air)

I picked up 4lbs of magpro for a buddies 300wm recently, thought I got a good deal at $50/lb, but that included shipping and hazmat fees plus having to order from 2 places.
