Rings or Rail w/Rings? Why? Tikka TX3 300wsm

Flip a coin. It doesn’t matter either way. All my Tikkas use the UM low Tikka rings. All my other rifles use rails.

But the only advantage I see to a rail is the ability to swap scopes to other rifles with rails. The slight bit of extra weight could be either good or bad, depending on your perspective.

Rings and rail usually more flexible to move scope to ideal eye position. Some of the newer scopes with the small distance for the front ring can be trouble with just rings.
