Curious what rings people are running on a Mark 5 3.6-18x44 on say, a Deviant Ultralight LA or similar.

I have a set of 35mm Hawkins hybrids for Tikka, if I were doing a pic ring, Seekins/Vortex or ARC would be my choice. Valdala makes a nice set of lows as well.
I believe you'll find the arc rings to be 40% heavier than Hawkins light rings, they're absolute tanks.Anyone else able to comment here? Have a Mark 5HD 3.6-18x44 ordered for my Cooper 92. I've narrowed my ring choices down to the low ARC M10's or the new Hawkins Ultralight Lows. I have the bases that came with my Cooper, and I also have a Talley rail. My current setup of 30mm Talley LW mediums gives me a sight height of 1.75". I have calculated that on the factory bases my sight height with the M10's would be 1.735", while with the Hawkins it would be 1.68". IF I need the rail for forward/aft movement of the scope for proper eye relief then add .225" to those, which I hope I don't have to do and don't believe I'll have to.
I believe the weights of the Hawkins and and ARC M10's will be similar, I like the level of the Hawkins but I also like the simplicity of the ARC's. They also appear very easy to add witness marks to so I can tell if screws have loosened, which is a paranoid thing I like to do.

This is a comparison of 4oz for Hawkins vs 6oz for arc. It's only a 2oz difference but % wise it's a lot heavier. The mk5 is twice the scope the swfa is, you'll be quite happy. I have a 3.6-18x44 illuminated, and a 5-25 non illuminated, both pr1-moa reticle, I really like em, pondering swapping all my hunting rifles over.Dang. Already adding 5.5 oz going from an SWFA 3-9x42 to a Loopy 3.6-18x44. Hmmmm.
