Rifle wind speed

Ok I’m new to this.

I have a 30-06. I did my calc using an online calculator so I haven’t checked it in real life, but wondering if it seems legit and did it right.

I put in various wind speeds until I got 0.6 mil at 600 yards. It came out to 3 mph. Seem accurate?

Just ran the numbers in 4DOF and came up with the same.

Yes. Check the numbers from 300 to 700 and see how it looks, if 3mph still works good. If you use JBM ballistics online, you can put in 3 mph and look at all the other distances in a chart.

Fyi, 3 mph is pretty low because that is not a very aerodynamic bullet. For example, a 147 gr bullet in 6.5 can be 6 mph.
