Rifle stock

I have a Remington 700 .223 ADL that I was going to buy a stock for. I seen a Carbon fiber hunting stock at Stockys that only weighs 23 ounces.
Im not sure if that would be too light or not
Was wondering what the general consensus is on here for a hunting stock weight?

You will get as many answers as opinions. If you are trying to get an ultralight backpack rifle then go as late as you can. If that doesn’t matter to you, then you can get a heavier one. The lighter a rifle is, the harder it is to shoot well, so it all depends upon your desires.
