Have a question for you all.
I have a Remington 700 in 243 that has the wood stock on it. Its pretty beat up over the years but the rifle shoots great.
My daughter is 12 and has hunted last year and is looking forward to this year already.
Right now she shoots a 300 Blk in an AR platform. And it does shoot well.
But I have been thinking it might be time to get her into the 243.
The problem is that its a full length stock. She's a little thing, hence the AR with the butt stock being adjustable for her.
But I also use the 243 as well for some predator hunting.

Is there a stock out there that is adjustable similar to the AR?
I could cut the wood stock down for her then just swap stocks if needed when I use it. But would prefer not to.

Any of you all have any ideas?

Just find a youth stock on ebay and swap them out. You could look at a chassis, but most of them will only go down to 13" or 13.5", which is similar to the Remington factory LOP, which is usually 13 3/8" unless a thicker recoil pad has been installed.

I'm sure there's a chassis out there that will take a mil spec buffer tube and butt stock. Short of that, buy an old one and cut it down.

MDT LSS chassis with adjustable LOP. I have one I’ll make you a smoking deal on.
