Seems like an interesting concept, if you like shooting off of tripods. Especially for gaming the games.

First I am seeing this. A google search brought me to a demonstration video here. I've been looking for this exact thing. Using my trekking poles for rear support has been slow and difficult to position just right.

I just got a pair of kraft chucks and I cannot recommend them enough.

I shot with them the last two days and the results have been very very good. For context I'm shooting off a 2vets recon v2 with an anvil30 on top of it. I've been able to consistently get 1 to 1.25 inch 10 shot groups at 100 from standing/kneeling/seated tripod with the chucks.

Shooting at distance on steel today made me a believer, the wobble zone with the chucks is almost nonexistent. Maybe .1 mil of wobble which is nuts standing tripod, it makes dialing in the windcall money. 5/5 on a 12x20 ipsc at 620 standing was almost too easy. Panning from target to target with 20 degrees of seperation was also a non issue, I ran some nrl style stages and I think with practice the chucks aren't going to make a big enough hit on the time clock to make you regret using them if theres a stage where standing or sitting tripod is the best position.

Interesting. I use pack or treking poles. Using poles I can get similar results. This looks like more than I would use for hunting, but maybe range and matches.

Umm. Yeah. Moving closer and closer to having a drone you control from your couch take the shot for you. IMG_1735.jpeg

Do they collapse down with your tripod legs for toting around or do you have to remove/reinstall each time you use them?

I have played with making a couple of spots out of tape with a little tube, taped onto the tripod leg. I stick my trekking poles into the tape mess on the tripod leg. Once the tip is seated into the hole, it is similar to this system.

I think outdoorsman has a tripod attachment that is similar in function.

Yeah that sounds very similar, one of the cool things I saw with the chucks yesterday was the ability to rapidly pan and increase/decrease elevation without sacrificing position

*heavy sigh*
*looks at wallet*
How much does it weigh? Website doesn't seem to give specs at least on a one-pass look on my phone.
Thanks

Anyone got long term opinions yet? My wife has some tags for areas I’m thunking will need to be elevated shots and this seems like a good option since I don’t think I’ll get her to comfortable with just a tripod

I just sold a rifle and might have some "fun funds" to explore this with here next week. I will report back directly. We shoot enough here to get a great feel for a product in a very short time frame.
