Rifle balance

As I've experimented over the past few years with different barrel contours, lengths, stocks and optics, I've found myself increasingly annoyed when a rifle doesn't balance well.

Recently I've had both a rifle that was noticeably butt-heavy due to a light barrel and another that was barrel/nose-heavy due to the ultra light stock.

I'm learning that I don't just want a light rifle, I want one that is well balanced too.

Anyone else like this?

I definitely care about it a lot but to add even more frustration I like different rifles to balance in different way to suit their use case.

A canyon/long range hunting rifle I want to balance further forward than a stalking rifle. Prs rifle needs to balance on a bag under the forend, etc.

My main stalking/hunting general rifle balances on the front action screw and I love that, I can throw it around fast. But on a bipod it settles down a lot with a can on the front for weight
