This is about as new condition as you will see, looks like it has never been read. If you are into rifles and shooting you have likely heard of this book. I have had this copy for probably 15 years. Had another that I read, it was falling apart, got it second-hand. Then I bought a new copy. Google it, highly sought book at outrageous prices. And yes, this is paperback.

I have this book. It's worth twice what he's asking. Look around and price shop....it's a steal.

Is this book geared more towards the shooter, the rifle builder/gunsmith, or both?

Google has a lot of answers, as an owner of the book and a small time gunsmith my take is this, the author is a nasa scientist who runs a ton of tests on accuracy of rifles and dies a great job of documenting his findings. Things like screw tension, harmonics, barrel length.....on and on all documented and data collected.
