I’m thinking about picking up the Rick Young Bino Harness and have a set of Swarovski EL’s that came with the plastic hardware as part of the “field pro” attachment. ”Rick” offers a “harness adapter” that’s not plastic and I’m trying to find out if its worth getting? Anyone have any experience with it?

I use the RY harness on my ELs field pro's. I use the adaptors from Swaro and they work fine. I'll post some pics later tonight for you.

Here you go. The loops are something I added as I didn’t want to attach the metal ring directly to the field pro adaptor. I wanted the weight of the binos to be more evenly distributed across the adaptor F98A1BB5-C7BC-4135-B703-1725353F1B1E.jpeg

Been using the plastic swaro ones for a while and have no issue. I connect mine similarly to ZDR but use small zip ties. I can post a pic sometime if you'd like.

Here ya go @USMC22 !

Should've used black zip ties as they'd be a little classier, but I was headed out to hunt last fall and grabbed what I had, and just haven't changed them.

When I hunt out west and switch to my marsupial harness, I just cut the zip ties off.

I use the rick young connection straps but with less hardware and installed over the stud. The rubber is thin but I figure if it breaks only one will break so I won't loose the binos. I get less chest bounce with this setup because less hardware and shorter distance to the elastic strap.
