I tried looking around but haven’t seen many reviews on the new defiance 75 degree bolts? Does anyone have any personal experience with them?

Just starting to test 75 vs 90 on a 6 Creed that I am putting together. I'll try to share more as I get more time spent with each.

It seems like most people are waiting to hear some actual reviews before jumping in. I’ve read lots of details and Q&A from when Defiance started offering them but it’s been about 6 months and I still haven’t seen an actual user review. Looking forward to hear your thoughts.

I have a 75 being built right now for a 6CM. Supposed to pick up from gunsmith early Oct.

Great. Hopefully you can put together a review for future buyers.

I have had a 90 degree for a couple of years, and recently got another action with a 75 degree (both Anti X LA) - and the 75 degree has a significantly heavier bolt lift. Unless you absolutely need the clearance, I would stick with the 90 degree.

Just a FYI - you can order a new bolt. Just another $500.......

My prs rifle I run a 90 ruckus. On my 300 prc and 6.5 prc I run a 75 la and sa anti x.

Personally the 90 I never notice the throw on while shooting. The 75 is nice in the gun store or living room but definitely feels heavy. when your actual cycling it in the field you don’t really notice it. It is definitely more the the 90. But not enough to detour me from grabbing another 75. Hunting applications the 75 lift is manageable and doesn’t throw me off target enough to care.

It's going to be pressure to raise the bolt and load the firing pin spring. That's 100% the difference. It's why I don't like most 3 lugs and I much prefer the 90, it's what I'm used too. Although, it does seem most folks make a big deal over the clearance and seem to prefer the 75. This is for both the Defiance and Kelbly actions.
