Got this neat piece of gear for a gift (someone meant to get me a sweatshirt and got this by mistake). It reminds of the Sitka Traverse series in terms of overall feel and possible use.
I'm not quite sure how, or if, I will add this to my mountain / alpine kit, but its just a quality piece of gear I REALLY like.
Its warm for its weight and is just plain comfortable to wear. We've had an Alaskan April snow shower this weekend and its been great in the 30-40* temps we've been having. Somewhat wind resistant and warm and the hood is a nice feature.
I think it would be a great mid to late fall piece of gear for any hunter or active guy. If you decide to order one here is my take on sizing. If you enjoy a "tight/close" fit, order your normal size, if you like a loose fit, order one size up.
