This hood isnt the worst offender by a long shot, but still pretty beefy. Some of First Lite hoods look like theyre made for jousting and is the sole reason I havent purchased.

Obligatory posts on sun hoodies: Black Diamond Alpenglow Pro (has to be the "pro" version" is the only sun hoody that matters.

Outdoor Research echo hoodie became my favorite. It doesn’t have great spf ratings because it breathes so well.
