I have a set of Zeiss Victory SFs right now. The glass is amazing. But it's time to ditch the range finder and get an all in one.

I see Revic has the newer BR10's out. I've read through the threads about those.

But I'm curious as to how they compare to the Leica with AB.

I spend a lot of time glassing with my binos off a tripod and I don't want to sacrifice image quality for ballistic range finding. That's a non starter.

Can someone who's compared both educate me as to why one over the other?

For what it’s worth, I’ve owned both this year. And I kept the BR10s.

The Leicas have a little better glass but the Revic has a better laser, more user friendly inputs, and an easier ballistic program to use in my opinion. They’re also faster, if that matters to you.

The Leicas were also quite a bit larger and I believe a bit heavier.

My RF binos never leave my chest, and I carry a set of 15s with me everywhere if I’m going to sit and glass for an extended period of time.

I strongly considered the EL range TA in the 12s as a do it all, that I could also glass from a tripod with - but eventually landed on the Revics and 15s as a solid set up for 95% of the hunting I do.

Just curious, which 15s you running?

Honestly for what I do I could really use 12's. But how's the swaro ballistic program?

I watched outdoorsman's video on the Leica. The reticle circle looks huge.

The price of the Revic is more gooder and seems like the range finder and solutions are going to be faster and better. Just hard to drip $2900 on something without looking through them first.

I've been using the 10x42 geovid 3200.coms for the last few years. I just picked up a set of the new revic gen 2s.

To my eyes the glass isn't comparable with the leicas being significantly easier for me to look through.

Laser on the revics is better, with faster readings and getting 300-400yd further. I haven't played with the AB version of the leicas but the revic on board ballistics are a significant improvement over the .com leicas. I much prefer the applied ballistics app to the revic app however. I really like the smaller size of the revics.

I'm going to continue to use the revics, and keep the geovids on standby. I do bring slc 15s on most hunts for the majority of my glassing. If I had paid full price for the revic I think I would have returned them immediately upon the optical comparison.
