Compared side by side outdoors with a pair of gen 1’s. Glass was noticeably better to my eye, like looking through my 10x42 EL’s. New reticle was also pretty slick compared to the gen 1 circle. Maybe even better. Good thing I got the gen 1’s a month ago…lol.

You’re probably right. It was a Quick Look comparing the two gens outside the store. I didn’t get to compare to the EL’s. I did notice how much more “crisp” the image was to me than the gen 1’s, which may have just reminded me of my swaro’s. Looking forward to your review.

Which would you take on a hunt? Not ELR match or anything like that, but to hunt with. Are the ballistics good/important/more reliable that you would take the Revics over the EL Range TA's?

The glass on the Gen 2’s is better than the Gen 1’s and is starting to actually look like $1,000 glass- a bit sharper and the colors are more true.


The major change to the performance is that the range, elevation data, and wind hold all populate near instantly and together.
