Revic Acura BR10 Gen 2 Binoculars

I’ve been looking to upgrade to these - and a pair of swaro 12s or 14s at the same time. I held off on buying the revics last year because I knew the gen 2 were coming. Hindsight I should have bought the swaros then.

More and more I want my on body binos to have the best laser and ballistics solution - and give up some optical clarity. Because I’m likely always carrying a spotter or extra set of binos in my pack.
Swaro NL 14s in quick access area on pack and Revic RF binos in the bino harness is THE combo.

It’s what I’ve used since January for hunts and off season training/scouting. The Swaro NL 14s are finally a set of binos with enough upgrade to FOV, image quality, and weight to ditch the trusty Swaro or Meopta 15s.

I’ll throw in the Swaro STC or my old Leupold spotter with a MIL reticle for very niche hunts, but they are almost always left in the gun room or vehicle.

The glass on the Gen 2’s is better than the Gen 1’s and is starting to actually look like $1,000 glass- a bit sharper and the colors are more true.

The major change to the performance is that the range, elevation data, and wind hold all populate near instantly and together.

To add to this, and not sure if it’s just because the overall image is more clear, or if they made a change to the display… but the dope numbers and reticle appear to “pop” or “contrast” a bit better to my eyes.

Not that it matters but is the GEN 2 gray or tan? Not sure if my old eyes are playing tricks on me but some pics look gray and some tan.

Man the delayed launch is worrisome. Obviously I want whatever issue they found resolved, but what happens if other issues are found after they do truly launch? We know some retailers already have them on hand and have for a while.

I have no way of confirming, but it’s got to be some kind of bug in the app/bino interface. My guess would be it’s the gps waypoint integration in the app.

If you are just “ditching” those Meoptas I might know a guy.
