Reversible camo/orange outer layer?

Does anyone make a reversible camo/orange lightweight outer shell? This is the last missing piece I'm looking for.

I have a lightweight orange rain jacket but it's noisy and I don't think I want to crawl through sage in it.

Not exactly what I'm after. I am looking for something windproof and at least water resistant. I know there are a lot of good quality outer shell hunting jackets out there. Just wondered if any of them had an orange side.

Something like the Kuiu guide jacket, for example.

I was never able to find a reversible jacket that checked all the mark's so just went with a vest from Orangeaglow.

It's kinda bizarre. You see all these ads for guys hunting with rifles in this high tech clothing, and none of them are wearing any orange. Seems there would be a spot in the market for vests and jackets that have at least the minimum required orange in the vest portion of the garment, on one side?

Kuiu guide jacket is soft shell outer and a fleeced inner. I don’t think you could get the same function from a reversible garment.

+1 for that orange aglow vest. Light and easy. Throw it on over whatever you are wearing. They even make a panel for your pack.

Kuiu Guide DCS has a vest that is all orange if you want a high quality vest, unfortunately it’s not reversible

I carry a couple light blaze orange vests so I can put one over my jacket and/or pack as needed. I also carry a couple types of hats, one in orange.

Yea, I've done the lightweight orange vest thing for the past three years, but I got so tired of taking it off, putting it on, taking it off to strip or add layers, putting it on, etc.

So I started to just buy orange layers. Then I don't have to worry about what I'm putting on or taking off. The last layer I'm looking for is an outer shell that's windproof and water resistant. I have a North Face orange rain jacket that is light and packs down small, but it doesn't breathe very well, it's not quiet and I am not sure how well it would hold up to brush. So I figured I'd ask.

It wouldn't even have to be reversible. Just an orange, good quality outer layer that is lightweight and durable would be welcome. I can't believe with all the rifle hunters that use Kuiu, Sitka, First Lite, etc, none of them have an orange layer. Weird.

As I said, kuiu does have one

Yup, I saw that one. Not gonna pay $150 for a vest. If it were a good quality jacket, maybe.

I'll keep looking for a jacket and see what I can turn up.

Unfortunately, the hunting clothing market seems to think that if you wear orange, you are going to sit in a blind or stand all day long. LOL
