Batteries are dead.

The lithium 2.0 batteries and the new fold open solar panel work well together. It will actually charge the lithium camera battery and not just run it seperately.

What I figured. I'll probably just limp by another month or so with disposables and then look into a better solution next year.

Yeah, I love mine. The only down side is they go through batteries way faster than other brands.

Put new batteries in yesterday at lunch. It’s working. Unfortunately, I can’t sleep now. He’s alive.! Florida buck. He would’ve scored a lot better last year but he’s as big as I’ll get body wise probably six-year-old deer. I’m gonna say 155 pounds. True stud for this spot. Bet he scores 130.

I found that mine was killing the lithium/solar setup because my motion sensitivity was too high and I had the settings check on instant. With settings check on hybrid and motion false alarms minimized I haven't had to mess with it in over a year.

I've done the same. It definitely helped a couple of them but for the rest they still go through batteries way faster than other brands of cameras that I have.

Mirroring what most others have said, the things I noticed when first running them were:
1. Batteries - definitely get lithium or the lithium packs. The cameras ate up alkaline batteries.
2. Sensitivity - really watch your placement and test different levels. They’re pretty sensitive even around 4-5.
3. Cell Service - These get service in places your phone don’t.

On third set of battles since early a Jan. Definitely getting a solar panel next year. Only a couple more weeks of deer season here.

Question… put new batteries in yesterday after a week of dead time. Been asking it to download over and over pretty much all night. I can request a picture in a minute later I get it. However, it is currently 5:15 AM here. I just now got pictures of deer at 1:30 AM.

I bought 4 of the 3 pro a year and a half ago. The 2 I leave out all year are still working, the 2 I was going to put out a couple days ago turn on and in 5 sec shut off. Fresh battery packs fully charged. I have 1 of the first ones made still going as well as all my others except 3pro. I have 8-10 tactacams, solar panels, small 12 volt battery set ups but I'm thinking I'll be switching soon.

Well, I went to pull mine out about a month ago. In direct Florida sunlight and one or more of the AA batteries exploded and corroded everything to hell. A first for me, but kinda my fault I guess. I’ve been wanting to buy a solar panel and the lithium battery pack anyway. I’d like to just buy that. I’m sure it would still work. But I figured you might as well send this in and have them likely to send me a whole new unit get that unit back and then buy the accessories.

I have two 2.0’s and two 3.0’s, all have lithium batteries and solar panels. I put them out in June and pull them in February and all show 100% the entire time.
